Need to know more about Lap band long term effects ?

I am very obese and continuously my weight is increasing day by day. The increased weight makes me tired and inactive. I am in great trouble as I am unable to perform any work due to my over weight. I have decided to do lap band surgery for reducing my overweight.

But I do not have any idea about this surgery. I just want to know about the Lap band long term effects. Please help me.
