Lap band Procedure problems ?

Hi, I am new to this surgery but desperately wanted to have solution of weight loss. I heard a lot about lap band surgery. But like any other surgery it also has potential of some kind of complications and risk at the time of surgery. What kinds of Lap Band problems have patients encountered with this type of procedure of surgery? Is it really safe or I have to make myself in such way that I will not face any problem?

Hi, I think you are mistaken. Among all bariatric surgeries lap band surgery is considered as safest solution for weight loss. It is minimally invasive procedure of weight loss. It doesn’t require any cut and staple of body and also there is no need of re-routing digestive system. So you will not to stay in hospital for long time, within 24 hours or less than this you will be able to go back your home. There are no lap band problems during surgery procedure. This is totally a laparoscopic surgery in which only 4 to 5 small incisions are made on your abdomen to insert lap band.

Patients are kept under general anesthesia during the procedure. So you will not feel any pain at the time of surgery and but little bit after surgery. Mortality rate during surgery is less than 1% (now what you can say). Problems, complications occur 2 weeks after surgery where your proper attention toward this surgery is needed. During this phase, you come to know whether this band suits to your body or not and you are approaching to lose weight or not. Blood clot and infection are the side-effects which you will encounter right after surgery and to avid this you need to make habit of walking and never try to life any heavy thing.

There are really no lap band procedure problems. This is a simple procedure but after surgery you need to follow up care to avoid complications and side-effects. And yes, you have to make yourself ready for surgery. This means first find out whether your body is eligible for this surgery or not. if not then don’t go for this surgery.
