Diarrhea problem after lap band surgery ?

Well, this is my 21st day after lap band surgery. I don’t want to mention constipation problem here. I have found diarrhea which is explosive and urgent. Why I am facing this problem and for how long I have to face this?

Nancyb 		Diarrhea is the common side-effect after lap band surgery. As now you are in the liquid stage, means you are on liquid diet. During this phase you are more likely to expect loose stool or diarrhea. What liquid you get will go out in the same manner. This problem is for the short period of time. As soon as you start taking solid food you will no longer face this problem. But within the liquid phase you will have to face this problem.

If you are having more than 5watery stool per day then you should consult to your surgeon, as this will make you weak. Any medication will be provided by your surgeon that would be very nice for you. Some doctor give antibiotic related with diarrhea before surgery.
